We have this day recd the items to add to your set of china ordered by you last winter. They could have been here sooner, but there is some risk in ordering from France of not getting colors to exactly, and as one of our firm was going to France, we thought it best to let him buy them on the spot. The cups are of the size designated by Mrs. Scott- and the plates the size of the pattern sent in your letter.
We send box to the care of Mess. Ward & Moffett Louisville. We have charged the items at a rate of advance a little lower than we sold the set at, less profit being made on them than we got on all our sales.
You may remit us the amount in any manner convenient to you.
Your Obd Svts
