Title Edward Rumsey Wing
Description Sepia-toned photograph of Edward Rumsey Wing (1843-1874), the husband of Louisa Rucks Scott Wing (1845-1920). Louisa was the daughter of Elizabeth Watts Brown and Robert Wilmot Scott. The photograph is of Wing standing up with his right arm bent with his hand on his hip. He is holding a hat in his left hand. He is looking off toward his left. He is standing on floral carpet. On the left side of the photo is a table with a table cloth and a book on top of it. There is a curtain with a Greek key pattern above it. Wing is wearing boots, light pants, dark jacket, dark vest, white shirt, and a tie.

Rumsey Wing was U.S. Minister to Ecuador from 1869 until 1874. He died in office in Quita Ecuador.
