Description |
Cabinet card of Eliza Eloise Brown Baily (1845-1923). She is wearing a fancy dark dress with a high collar. The dress has small buttons on the bodice, heavy dark beading on the front, and a floral pin brooch closure with a chain on the neck. Eliza has her hair parted in middle with small buns on each side and pulled back. The bottom of the card reads: "Ludovici's Portraits, New York and Newport." Imprinted on the back with the studio logo is the following information: "Ludovici's Photographic and Crayon Portraits. Julius Ludovici, Manager, New York. 253 Fifth Avenue. Newport, R.I. Bellevue Ave." |
