Description |
Cabinet card of Mary Mason Scott (1867-1934). Head shot portrait. She is wearing a corsage on her right shoulder. Her hair is pulled back and her bangs are curled. On the front of the card at the bottom it reads: "Ludocivi's Portraits, New York and Newport." On the back of the card there is a studio's imprint, and logo. The imprint reads: "Ludovici's Photographic and Crayon Portraits, Alexander Schall, Julius Ludovici, artist, New York, 254 Fifth Ave., Newport RI, Bellevue Ave." The back of the card also has a handwritten inscription: "Mary Mason Scott Nov 1st 1888." Another handwritten inscription at the bottom back of the card reads "Found in trunk in attic of Liberty Hall 11/28/78 CSC + SMA" |
