Photograph taken as part of the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS), Feb. 1, 1934. Black and white photograph of back porch of Liberty Hall. In this photograph, the porch extends along the kitchen ell. There is a room off the side of the kitchen that has since been removed. Cellar doors are where the current staircase stands today. The stairs to the right have been removed along with the bathroom addition, that had been adjacent to the downstairs bedroom. The first floor shutters are closed. There are two large trees in the center that are no longer there. The back is stamped: "Reproduced from the Library of Congress" |
