Carte de visite of two girls, both girls are wearing hoop skirts. The older girl is sitting on an elborate Victorian chair. There appears to be a geometric floorcloth, on the floor. Two gold thin lines are used as a border. On back, in handwritten note it reads: "Helen Knox Alcott - born Sept 3, 1851 and Anna Wyckoff Alcott- born June 11 1859." There is also the photographer's imprint on the back: "Bogardus, Photographer, 363 Broadway, New York" |
