Photograph of the rear of Liberty Hall This was taken pre-1979 restoration work. In this photograph, the porch extends along the kitchen ell. There is a room off the side of the kitchen that was removed. Cellar doors are where the current staircase stands today. The stairs to the right have been removed along with the room (a bathroom) that had been added adjacent to the downstairs bedroom. There are bushes along the brick path that are no longer there. There are two copies of this photograph, on the back of one it reads in a handwritten note: "Steve Mitchell, KY Public Information" There is also a date stamped on: Sep 07 1978. In sharpie marker on the front it reads: "Sample will fade in 6 mos" and "Steve Mitchell" |
